Nice 'n Easy's Guardian Girlfriend Talks the (Girl) Talk and Walks the Walk? to Make At-Home Hair Coloring a Worry-Free Experience

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) October 9, 2009

Meet Gigi: She's the queen of girl talk, the friend who gives it to you straight and turns a beauty challenge into a surefire beauty success. And she's especially passionate about helping women who color their hair at-home get the right products to give them their right color Now, thanks to the new Nice 'n Easy "Guardian Girlfriend" campaign, women everywhere can benefit from Gigi's advice, since she knows exactly how to help you get beautiful looking hair color and feel good about the process.

Actress Angela Kinsey, best known for her eponymous role on TV's Emmy-award-winning comedy "The Office," steps into Gigi's pumps with unbridled enthusiasm, literally popping up to save the day and keep grays at bay. "I love girl talk, especially when it comes to beauty: sharing tips and tricks about what really works," says Angela. "I've been coloring my hair for years, so I understand that instant emotional boost that comes with getting your right color, and I'm excited to help other women achieve that, too."

"Women have told us that at home hair color can be a scary process," explains Tara Brown, Marketing Director, Clairol. "The 'Guardian Girlfriend' campaign is the latest example of how Nice 'n Easy is a unique, go-to resource that helps women through the hair color process. It's a very approachable way to talk to women about a very emotional part of their beauty routine. If you think about most beauty campaigns, they focus primarily on the end result and almost unattainable beauty; with 'Guardian Girlfriend,' we show the beautiful end result, but we also teach women how to get there in an approachable way."

The Nice 'n Easy "Guardian Girlfriend" campaign will be the cornerstone of an ongoing conversation between the brand and women, to help walk women through the hair color process and answer any questions they may have. "Guardian Girlfriend" debuted in July with two national television ads, and the campaign also includes print advertising, interactive resources on Clairol.com, in-store materials, and more.
