Mr. Abueva is a seasoned marketer and entrepreneur who has worked for multinationals including Bristol-Myers Squibb and Procter & Gamble.

Mr. Abueva began his career in the buying offices of The May Company and Macy's. Thereafter, he spent over eight years at the Worldwide Beauty Care Division of Bristol-Myers Squibb where he led Clairol product launches, first in the U.S. as New Products Manager, then the UK as Senior Manager - Emerging Markets, into Central & Eastern Europe, Israel, Turkey and China and finally, in Thailand as Marketing Director - Asia/Pacific. He has also been a business journalist for numerous publications including The International Herald Tribune, The New York Times, Philadelphia Business Journal and Newsweek (Japan). He most recently launched Monkey Hill, a home and gift retail venture based in New Hope, PA.
Mr. Abueva, a native of Manila, the Philippines, has also lived in Kathmandu, Nepal and Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a BA in Economics and Asian Studies as well as from Columbia Business School with an MBA in Marketing and Management.
